Carving is an art form found throughout the world. Master carvers have passed their knowledge down through the generations and most carvings have traditional or cultural importance. From the decorative mask or statue to the practical stool, you’ll find many beautiful hand-carved pieces here.

Jewelry

We carry jewelry from across Africa created from a wide variety of materials (glass, clay, metal…) for the whole family. Since they are all hand-made pieces, they have individual charm and style.

Clothing

Coffee and Tea of the Month Clubs

Imagine our incredible tasting African coffees or teas arriving at your door each month. Does that sound like heaven? If so, this is the stand for you! Our coffees and teas are fair trade and roasted weekly. The quality can't be matched.

Food

In many parts of Africa, as well as elsewhere in the world, slaves still pick cocoa or coffee. African children as young as 6 years old are used as forced labor to pick crops which are then sold to large companies in Europe and the United States. For us at Mama Afrika, this is simply unacceptable. That is why ALL of our foods are fairly and ethically traded and often organic.
