Our smocks are made from handwoven materials in Northern Ghana, then sewn with attention to detail.
They are detailed with Adinkra symbols, used by the Akan tribes (including the Ashanti or Asante), to recount proverbs or stories. Mama has a post about them on her blog if you'd like to learn more.
These are also referred to as dashikis; but in Ghana they are known as smock, fugu or datakari, depending on the region.
Designed to fit loosely, one size fits most men and women. Machine wash delicate cycle (or hand-wash), line dry for best results.
